Ideally, you will arrive in your own vehicle/RV, OR fly into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and then rent a car.
This page gives information on all the modes of Washington State transportation that we on the Olympic Peninsula and in the Puget Sound areas rely on to navigate the roadways and waterways that surround western Washington.

Clallam Transit is Clallam County's Public Transportation Service. As a means to facilitate your vacation in Port Angeles, or to see the sights, public transit offers very poor connectivity, i.e. don't even think about it.
HOWEVER: there is one Clallam Transit service that might be of interest:
Route 123, also called the "Strait Shot."
The Strait Shot provides bus service between Port Angeles directly to the Bainbridge Ferry, enabling you to get to Seattle reasonably, without having to worry about finding parking spots for your vehicle. This makes a day's excursion into downtown Seattle a very fun prospect!
The eastbound service starts at the Gateway Transit Center in downtown Port Angeles at 7:25 a.m., then makes stops in Sequim, Blyn, Discovery Bay, Poulsbo, SR305 at Suquamish Way, and finally arrives at the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal 2 hours later at 9:25 a.m. (Check the schedule for the Sunday/Holiday schedule as it differs from the weekday and Saturday schedules.)
The return westbound service makes the same stops in reverse, leaving Bainbridge at 10:20 a.m., and arriving at the Port Angeles Transit Center at 12:15 p.m.
The evening westbound service leaves Bainbridge ferry terminal at 8:20 p.m., arriving at the Port Angeles Gateway Transit Center at 10:05 p.m.

Sea-Tac International Airport is the main (only) major international airport in the area. Its air initials are: SEA.
The following two commercial airlines make hundreds of flights in and out of Sea-Tac International Airport night and day (links open in new window):
Include these carriers in your travel research, as their flights are not included in flight aggregate websites such as Travelocity or Expedia.
Tip: Open an incognito window to search for flights and prices, so that when you go back later to actually book the flight you don't discover that the prices suddenly jumped. This suggestion is good for any airline you may be researching.
